Comments: My Grandfather J.Lee Alexander used to be a Sheriff in Berlin, New Hampshire in the late 1800's and early 1900's. This according to stories from my late mother. Is there any way to verify this info as to whether or not he was Sheriff there. I understand that he served several years in the capacity and then he, according to my late mother went on to be mayor. He later married a lady in Coaticook Canada and went there to live. Thanks Gordon L. Alexander

Comments: My Grandfather, two Uncles and now a Nephew have all served as police officers. I have always had the most utmost respect for the men and women of the blue. While I cannot begin to understand the brotherhood that you all share. I do know that a lot more people care and respect all that you do. So please share this poem with all of your brothers and sisters of the blue. Thank you for all that you do. The Men and Women of the Blue The Men and Women of the Blue. Only know to be True. You are there for us morning and Night. Keeping the evil from our Sight. We call you when we are in Need. You come to us with great Speed. You put your lives in harms Way. For each and everyone of us, each and every Day. Your willingness to protect and Aid. Shall never, ever Fade. Your job is to serve and Protect. However, you have an even bigger Effect. To the children you are the Best. Better than all the Rest. To the elderly and the weak, you are always There. Ready to serve, protect and Care. You are human just like Me. However, you have something more that we can See. You are brave, honest, loyal compassionate and True. This is why you are the Men and Women of the Blue. Comments: Greetings, Currently I'm a employed as an NYPD police officer. I'm looking to retire in less then a year and relocate to N.H. I was wondering if I would be able to become a member of NHPA?? I'm currently a member of F.O.P.lodge#317 and of course NYCPBA. I was thinking about applying for the NH Liquor enforcement position. Any insight into this job would be great. Not sure if I'm crazy to be doing this after 24yrs of service with NYC. Anybody is welcome to contact me. Thanks!!!
